Little Bird's Nest Pre-school

Welcome to Little Bird's Nest Pre-School, where we provide a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 2 to 5 years. Based at St Anne's Church Hall, our pre-school has been proudly serving the local community for over 30 years. During their time with us, children develop the confidence, independence, and skills they need for the next stage of their learning journey before moving on to local primary schools, including St Anne's Fulshaw, Gorsey Bank, Ashdene, and Lindow Primary, among others. Little Bird's Nest Pre-School is registered with Ofsted and operates during term time only. We are open: Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 3:00pm Friday: 9:00am – 12:00pm Our setting is based in a spacious church hall with access to a wonderful outdoor play area, providing children with plenty of opportunities to learn, explore, and play both indoors and outside. As a pack-away setting, we see this as a real strength. It encourages our staff to continually reflect on and review the learning environment, ensuring it remains engaging, stimulating, and responsive to children's interests and needs. It also gives children a valuable opportunity to contribute to the layout of their environment, helping to decide how areas are organised and where activities are set up, promoting independence, ownership, and a sense of belonging.
